As they say, go big or go home. Thanks to Pinterest, we've grown to love colour and are steadily moving away from grey (although this post on Farrow & Ball's Moles Breath continues to be one of my most popular EVER on this blog) and into the bold and beautiful of wallpaper prints.

Another bold floral print, Paradise (c1940) celebrates a truly rich mix of styles. The English Heritage-owned document from which this paper is drawn is a 20th Century piece, but the subject – exotic flora and the familiar oriental ho-ho birds - is classic ancient Chinoiserie, whilst the colouration in the original is very much in the style of a 19th Century French paper.
