What you will need
• Pendant light
• Garbage bag or newspapers
• Painter’s tape
• Gold spray paint

Directions
If it’s already assembled, dismantle the pendant light. You’ll have two separate pieces: the shade and the part that attaches the shade to the chain.
Cover the exterior of the shade with a garbage bag, and secure the bag to the edge of the shade’s lip using painter’s tape.
Cover the light’s cord and chain in painter’s tape.
Spray-paint the shade’s interior and outer lip gold; spray-paint the second piece gold.
Let dry, assemble and hang according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
