New Colour Palette - Benjamin Moore
It is always exciting to have a new palette released - will never tire of this. This time, Benjamin Moore which is a real hit in the States has released new colours for AW16 with a number of darker shades, of which the green one is my favourite. Green is going to get bigger this year (I love Stoke Forest green above) so see some inspirational shots from their team.
Founded in 1883, Benjamin Moore is North America’s favourite paint, colour and coatings brand. Wall and Trim colour – Louisberg Green (HC-113).
For that perfect bold and dramatic interior scheme this winter, turn to Benjamin Moore paint. From strikingly deep to sumptuous and cosy, Benjamin Moore’s colour palette of over 3,500 will help you find that perfect darker shade for your home. Renowned for the intensity and beauty of its colours, the premium paint will deliver an outstanding finish and its durability will put an end to worries over fading or marking, even with the darkest shades.
B. Wall colour – Van Deusen Blue (HC-156). C. Wall colour – Cranberry Cocktail 2083-20,
Window colour – Wish AF-680, Ceiling trim colour – Pashmina AF-100.
When it comes to choosing your perfect dark palette, there are a number of ways to incorporate a deeper shade into your scheme to ensure it delivers the desired look and feel. Set against a crisp white window trim or skirting board, a framed stunning dark hue has the ability to lift and bring a space to life, whilst opting for one shade for the walls and mouldings will create a dramatic and characterful feel.
For the ultimate stylish statement, choose two complimentary dark hues for the walls and the details. The hallway space below shows how the deep blue hue of Everard Blue on the fireplace surround, cupboard and coat rack works beautifully against the Spotswood Teal walls, delivering a cosy feel with a final touch of contrasting yellow to bring the look of the scheme together.
D. Wall colour – Dark Olive (2140-30) E. Wall colour – Stokes Forest (2035-40)
Delivering exceptionally richer and truer colour, Benjamin Moore paint offers phenomenal coverage so even the darkest shades cover in just two coats. Underpinning all of the fantastic Benjamin Moore product lines is the proprietary Gennex® Waterborne colourant technology. All Benjamin Moore paints are custom mixed, giving customers access to an unrivalled palette of colours. Gennex® colourants fortify the paint to enhance colour durability for a long lasting and resilient finish.
F. Wall colour – Spotswood Teal (CW-545), Trim colour – Everard Blue (CW-575), Inner Cupboard colour – Damask Yellow (CW-400). G. Wall colour – Kendall Charcoal (HC-166).
