Luxury lifestyle online retailer AMARA Living has launched its first in-house inspired own collection with four key looks for AW16: Fantasy, Heritage, Graphic and Luxe. With distinctive design and meticulous detailing, each look embraces the luxury living ethos that the brand is renowned for. The launch brings together some of the world’s most renowned home accessory brands and manufacturers and combines them with the valuable knowledge of the Amara expert team to create this exciting new brand.

The collection is already getting a lot of attention in interiors magazines so here are my top pieces from their first two looks and how to incorporate them in your own home.

By mixing delicate embroidery with gentle grey tones and pretty pastel shades, the modern femininity of ‘Fantasy’ gives this delicate look a contemporary feel.

Hero piece from this look: the GREY COWHIDE RUG. For those who have seen up close or used cowhide rugs, they come in a variety of qualities and colours. This grey rug works fabulously with dusty pink, it's so elegant. But it would also compliment a number of different design styles as shown below.

Above: Go for really dark walls and keep the floor light with a grey rug and light coloured furniture. The photo is from Multiyork's 2014 collaboration with Monsoon. Or do as stylist Tarina Lyell of Australian blog Oh Eight Oh Nine and add the grey rug in an all white room to add oomph to a simpler look. The rug is big enough to use under a medium sized round table.

This is an elegant collection of pieces which evoke a glamorous country home. Rich fabrics and tones will add depth and warmth. This winter we'll be talking a lot about texture so my hero piece from this look is this Alpaca throw, which will add a touch of luxury into your home as it has in mine, below.

Perfect to throw over a chair (as I have done below), an armchair or the sofa, this throw will keep you warm through the coldest of nights. Alpaca wool is renowned for its silkiness, warmth and hypoallergenic properties.
