3 Signs You've Designed A Healthy Home
A healthy home, as the old adage usually says, is a happy one. That’s something a lot of people go out of their way to incorporate, using household rules, modcons, and eco friendly tips and tricks. And really, the more happy you feel in your home, the healthier it’s likely to be, and vice versa.
However, if you’re ever unsure about the healthiness of your current home setup, we’re going to show you three signs to be on the lookout for. If you can spot these within your home or your life, they’re pretty much guarantees of the good work you’ve put into your interior design.

It’s Been a While Since You Smelt Something Musky
A musky smell in the air is typically a rather bad sign. It can even be a dangerous one, if you’re unsure where the smell could be coming from. And we’ve all smelt that kind of stale musk floating around our homes, so you know what you’re looking out for here.
Yet, if you haven’t smelt that in the air for a while, it’s a great sign. It means there’s no mold growing in your home, and you’re certainly not dealing with a big mold buildup!
Your walls are clean, your home is well ventilated, and the moisture in the air is at the perfect level. Be proud of all of these things - they’re very good for you!
Your Water Never Has a Weird Taste to it
Weird tasting water is rarely a good thing, but it’s rarely a terrible one either. That being said, when you take a sip from a glass you filled from the kitchen faucet and you find it’s a bit bitter, you’re going to worry what’s in it. You may even try to attach an external filter to ensure you’re only getting the good stuff.
However, if you’ve never had a taste like this in the water from your home, then you’re unlikely to be dealing with any plumbing problems. Of course, bitter tastes can be easily solved by adapting whole-home water conditioning from Leaf Home into your plumbing system, but a total lack of this ‘off’ flavor is good.
Cleaning Never Takes Too Long
Cleaning a home is a momentous task, seeing as you’ve got at least two floors to get through and a bathroom and kitchen to deep clean while you’re at it. But if you’re finding that you’re taking less and less time to clean the house, enjoy this particular fruit of your labors.
After all, a home that never takes long to clean is a home that isn’t really messy in the first place. There’s little to no dust, the floor isn’t covered in fluff and hair, and you don’t need to spend an hour disinfecting the toilet. You’ve clearly designed your home in a way that’s made it easier to stay clean, and that’s something to really celebrate.
If you’ve designed a healthy home, these signs will let you know it!
