Summer palette - Benjamin Moore

I am always excited to receive the Benjamin Moore Paints press releases, because they give me bundles of inspiration and their photography is always so good (styling and all). New in, their latest palette is full of calming colours that will breathe some life into your home this summer. Lots of neutrals obviously (off whites mostly) and light blues.

Delivering exceptionally richer and truer colour in over 3,500 shades, Benjamin Moore’s extensive palette is filled with refreshing and calming tones that are guaranteed to help you create a tranquil interior scheme. From crisp blues to pale greens, team your carefully curated palette with coastal-inspired soft furnishings and natural materials to enhance and rejuvenate your home.

For an endless summer feeling, create an extension of the sky or sea in your home by opting for a pale blue paint for your walls, delivering a restful and calm feeling. Consider how the colours you choose will make you feel.

Above: Moonlight White 2143-60 (middle) goes well with Westcott Navy (1624) and Feather Grey 2127-60. Below: We also like Moonlight White with Silver Spring 2120-50 and Grey Horse 2140-50

Warm colours add energy, cool hues create a more calming atmosphere, saturated colour will wrap you in a cosy environment and pale shades conjure an airy feel.

To achieve that ultimate coastal feel, team either a white or crisp blue painted wall with striped soft furnishings and touches of wood.
